From an adaptive rock-climbing wall to a park filled with carnival games, attendees of this year’s AbilityFest participated in an exciting and eventful day all for a great cause! On Saturday, July 13, 2019, thousands took to the Los Angeles State Historic Park for AbilityFirst’s annual AbilityFest. AbilityFest is a fundraising event designed to honor past and future partners and AbilityFirst families. AbilityFirst supports those with developmental disabilities and their families by providing a wide variety of programs for participants of all ages. At this year’s AbilityFest, Innovate Marketing Group designed a passport themed day, where participants traveled to all 30 vendors, collected stickers for their passports, and won prizes. Innovate Marketing Group also engaged attendees with their crowd favorite Potpourris Satchel Activation Station.
Other highlights include:
- Refresh of overall event layout for a more fluid and inclusive flow
- Colorful zones, carnival games, and vendor activities
- Vibrant performances and community participation (annual 5K walk, dance competitions, Radio station, water inflatable, etc..)
