Creating Events That Resonate With Today’s Tastemakers

SCMSDC engaged Innovate Marketing Group to help them create an event that resonate with today’s tastemakers for their annual Minority Business Opportunity Day. MBOD program offered many suppliers and corporate companies the chance to connect and discover “The New Rules.” Guest of Honor, Betty Porto, shared of the unconventional ways that Porto’s Bakery developed into its craved institution. With a delightful, flaky pastry surprise at the end of her speech, guests stood in ovation as the Porto’s desserts were danced to their tables. Guests were then invited to experience the full networking space that included a bright lounge set equipped playful hashtag signs and an empowering chalk wall for the wisdom and uncommon insights gained from the event. Many surprise and delights were build into the program to keep the day not only productive but also fun!
