As event planners, we know it’s the little details that make an event come together. Today, we are sharing our best tips for how to be more efficient on event days. One of the most important pieces of advice is to double and triple check your work – typos are a part of life but it doesn’t have to be a part of your production schedule! In order to set your team up for success, have a set up list prepared and a staff designated to go make sure it happens. Having a checklist to inventory your items at the end of the event is also a great way to ensure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Teamwork makes the dream work: Make sure your staff completely understand their roles whether that be at registration, an area manager, or by the stage. Additionally, a good tip is to always have backups of your important materials like name badges, digital content (on a USB), and background music for those unexpected moments. One of our greatest tools as planners is to be able to assess the task at hand in a calm and efficient manner.
