How to Make Your Event “Instagrammable”

It’s all about the experience! And then capturing that experience to share with your social network. Here are our tips on how to create the perfect photo opportunity/“Instagrammable moments” for your event:

Get Interactive
Event-goers love to feel like they are part of the magic. We think Colette Miller’s Global Angel Wings Project or RuPaul’s “Wig Out” collaboration at Refinery29’s 29Rooms would be great inspirations for a future step-and-repeat.

Add Some “De-Light”
Attendees were delighted this season by Descanso Gardens’s holiday light display titled “Enchanted: Forest of Light.” We encourage you to use creative lighting design to your advantage, like we did at last year’s Asian American Business Roundtable. It’s one of our favorites!

Go Big
We’ve already seen giant rubber ducks (Florentijn Hofman’s Rubber Duck) and floating astronauts at Coachella (Poetic Kinetics’s Escape Velocity) and are now anxiously awaiting Jeff Koon’s upcoming AR collaboration with Snapchat. Adding a large focal point to your event will encourage guests to capture the moment.
